Usually I try to get post out in the morning, but this morning I was feeling like I got run over.
A Shift after Christmas was, well...very uneventful. The Rescue Engine went out on a fire alarm right after shift change and that was it. House chores were taken care of, a visit by the Captain to drop off mail, and good eats throughout the day.
Coming up very soon it will be time to meet the crews that work here on the "East Side".
Map drills are not everybody's favorite training, but it all pays off in the end when you need to know your primary and secondary water sources.
